Shwu-Yun Tsay Tzeng received the B.S. degree from National Taiwan Normal University, Taipei, Taiwan, R.O.C. in 1982, the M.S. degree from University of Washington, Seattle, U.S.A. Her dissertation involved Equations of State and Critical Behavior of Nuclear Matter in Finite-temperature Random-phase Approximation. She is an associate professor of Department of Electro-Optical Engineering at National Taipei University of Technology. Her current research interests include Many Body, Nonlinear Dynamics and Chaos in Semiconductors, and Liquid Crystals especially on Ferroelectric and Antiferroelectric Liquid Crystals.
